  1. Remove banding and packing material
  2. Cut the colored cable ties that secure the red output hose to the top of the tank. Use care to not cut the hose.

OPERATION

  • Connect standard garden hose to the fill valve and fill to desired level. Valve will shut off automatically once level reaches max fill (300 gallons/1135.6 liters) (See fig 1)
  • Connect SB175 from Inverter Box to 24V Battery Supply.
  • Open lid to inverter, move the switch on the inverter to the On position. (See fig 2)
  • Connect appropriate battery watering adapter to the output hose.
  • Squeeze the lever on the valve completely to fill the battery. DO NOT PARTIALLY SQUEEZE THE LEVER.
  • Watch the spinner mounted on the valve. When it stops spinning, the filling is completed (about 15 seconds) (See fig 3)
  • Release the lever.
  • When filling operations are complete turn the Inverter off and store the red output hose. If the tank is going to remain unused for an extended period of time, drain the tank. (NOTE: Inverter will shut off when battery voltage reaches 12.5VDC. If this occurs, fully charge the battery before the next use.)

DRAINING THE UNIT

  1. To drain the tank, remove the protective cap. (See fig 4)
  2. Rotate the lever to the open position.
  3. Once tank has been emptied, return the lever to the off position and replace the protective cap.
